The Safety Dado Sets provide the highest quality results while maintaining a level of safety never found in a dado set before. This stacked dado set, with its razor-sharp outside blades, will produce grooves and rabbets that are flat-bottomed and virtually splinter-free in solid woods. Stacked dado sets are more precise than other styles of dado sets and with the use of Freud's Shim Set, (included with sets SD306 and SD308) the kerf width can be adjusted by as little as 0.004" for the perfect fit.
Through the use of kickback reducing limitators on both the outside blades and the chippers, the dangers of kickback from overfeeding and climbing on radial arm saws have been greatly reduced.
Application:
• Use on all table saws and radial arm saws for cutting slots, grooves, dadoes and rabbets in softwood and hardwood

CAUTION: Carbide tips should never come into contact with each other. Always use both outside blades and never use chippers alone or with just one outside blade.

HOOK - Hook Angle: The angle that the face of the tooth makes with a line projecting radially from the center of the bore (arbor) coming into contact with the tooth. Hook angles range from 25 degrees to -7 degrees.

|
BEVEL - Top Bevel Angle: The angle that the top of the tooth's cutting edge makes from one point of the tip to the other.
