The Dial-A-Width Dado Set is a stacked dado set, but we have replaced the shims with a patented dial system, which together with our exclusive Dial Hub; ensures accurate adjustments. Each "click" of the dial adjusts the blade width by 0.004". The Dial-A-Width Dado Set is easy to use and very precise. For the serious woodworker there's nothing better.

Application:

CAUTION: Carbide tips should never come into contact with each other. Always use both outside blades and never use chippers alone or with just one outside blade.

HOOK - Hook Angle: The angle that the face of the tooth makes with a line projecting radially from the center of the bore (arbor) coming into contact with the tooth. Hook angles range from 25 degrees to -7 degrees.

BEVEL - Top Bevel Angle: The angle that the top of the tooth's cutting edge makes from one point of the tip to the other.
